The State of Illinois has enacted Public Act 107-0753, effective January 1, 2023, which states “every employee of a county or municipality shall annually complete a cybersecurity training program.” Please carefully review the State of Illinois provided training document below. Once you have finished reviewing this training, you must acknowledge your review and understanding by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of this page. Please be aware that employees with County email addresses will be required to take additional cybersecurity training.

2023 Security Awareness Training
Cybersecurity attacks persists in major headline news every week. Why are there so many cyber-attacks? Part of the answer is that information technology (IT) is a critical infrastructure targeted for attack because it supports how people work, shop, and live life. Every facet of our lives is driven by IT. The work we do is reliant upon our ability to safely use the systems, devices, and data entrusted to us.
